As a senior I was debating what kind of project I should do for my senior project. After doing some researcher on what are our biggest problems we are facing now, food waste was the most important to me due to the effects it has on our environment. After looking for solution to reduce food waste, I found a few smartphone apps that would keep track of expiration dates for you. When testing some of them out, I notice how poorly designed some of them were. So, I took it upon myself to redesign and user test one of the most popular food tracking apps out there.s
